Reasons why you shouldn't wake up at 3:30am every morning
- Your body doesn't want to wake up then. It doesn't matter how early you go to sleep the night before, it knows that it's still the middle of the freaking night and that it should still be sleeping.
- I'd say you get used to it, but that's a lie.
- No one likes going to bed at 7 o'clock at night. I don't. You wouldn't either.
- You're tired all the time. It doesn't matter how much you sleep at night, how often you nap, you're always tired.
- Um, DUH. 3:30am!
Back in college I worked a semester at the front desk of the residence halls, and I had to work two 3-7am shifts a week. They were brutal.
ReplyDeleteUGH. That's even worse.
DeleteWhen you were a 2-year-old, you sure never minded waking up at awful hours like that...just sayin' LOL

It's the law of nature for small children to wake up at all hours of the night, not understanding what a valuable commodity sleep is. And then when people grow up, they begin to wish they had only slept more as children.
DeleteEeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeuw... Clearly, you should come and work for Starbucks in Melbourne. I just checked the website, and of the 6 Starbucks in Melbourne (6. In a city of 4 million people. I think half of America just fainted in horror/shock), three open at 6.30am and the other three open at 7.00am.
ReplyDeleteSo yeah. Come work in Melbourne. Kthxbai.
K, I just realized. When I wake up for work, we're in the same day. THAT MEANS IT'S REALLY FREAKING EARLY.
