Too Much Work and an Ice Cream Delivery Service

I thought about writing a post about junk food fiction today, but I'm not sure I'm mentally prepared for cleverness like that. I'll save it for a day when I have more of my wits about me. I kind of just woke up and I woke up with a headache, so I feel a little like crap, and I've still got to work later. Not that you care.

I've just been so busy with work lately I barely have time to think and come up with great posts for you all. I haven't quite mastered the art of working two jobs yet. Any tips to offer, internets?

In other news, who wants to start an ice cream delivery business with me? (And I DON'T mean an ice cream truck!) Lately I've been frequently finding myself in desperate want of some Ben & Jerry's, and no desire to venture to hell, I mean Walmart to get some.

I don't understand why no one's thought of this yet. I mean, really. Someone would make a fortune delivering ice cream to single ladies in their pajamas holed up in their apartments on a Friday night. Or, you know, any other night. And add wine to the menu and that fortune would turn into, well, more money than Bill Gates.

Seriously. Someone needs to get on this.

  1. The just off campus bar/liquor/convenience store/pizza joint at Tulane used to deliver anything. We could get a six-pack of beer and a pint of Ben & Jerry's delivered anywhere on campus. It was amaze-balls.

  2. That is a completely genius idea. I would totally buy into it, and use the crap out of a service like that.

Only I suspect you'd have to ensure that the delivery people were either women or really ugly men. Because no single lady holed up in her apartment in her PJs wants to open the door to a cute guy, even if he's carrying ice cream and wine. Hmmmmmmmmm...

    1. Ah, great thoughts. No cute delivery guys.

In all seriousness, I don't understand why some corporation hasn't already monopolized this idea. They would make a fortune.

WAIT. I should sell my idea to some corporation. THEN I WOULD MAKE A FORTUNE.
