Things Better Left Unsaid

I wrote a post, which contained things I probably shouldn't share with the great wide internet. I had every intention of publishing it, but figured that it wouldn't help anything. I would still feel an ache in my chest. It wouldn't change a thing.

If you're reading this, I think of you often. And darling, whatever happens, you matter to me. Always.

  1. I have one of those posts in my drafts folder.

  2. I don't know your circumstances so everything I say next is completely for my situation, but if your circumstances are similar to mine maybe it might hel with "the ache"...

I HAD one of those posts and am very happy to say it's gone now. When the realisation hit that he did not, in fact, matter anymore I realised the post had to go. Him "mattering" was the very thing making the ache stick around. He 'mattered' at a point on my life, at this point he no longer does. You probably just needed to write the post to get it out of you! Hopefully the ache goes away soon, or at least visits less frequently.

  4. I can never even type those posts up, so I suppose you've got one up on me. The moment I sit down to write a post, it's because I know I'll publish it. I've already accepted that I will.

But you don't have to say everything. Not at all. Not for anyone. Not unless it feels right.
